Cat and Coo

A few years ago R gave me “Heather the Heilan’ Coo. She was handmade by chainsaw by a local craftsman down beside Loch Eck. Today Saphy sat on top of her for quite some time, but try as we might we couldn’t get her to look at the camera. Since she had her bladder operation she has a whole new lease of life and has been sprinting up and down the driveway, following J and I about while we are gardening.

She has stopped peeing on R’s special recliner chair, and I have slowly managed to wean her off the second litter tray which we had had to put in the corner of R’s room to stop her going in the corner. Of course there is absolutely no need for her to have a tray at all as she is allowed free access to outdoors at all times and just today I saw her both peeing and pooing with great relish down by the side of the pond

If it were down to me I wouldn’t let the cats have a litter tray at all because they make a mess and smell. The little pellets get everywhere and I am very nervous about treading on them with my foot which is quite sensitive after its multiple operations.

R says that Amber is scared to go outside. R is too soft.
