Halloween

We paid a surprise visit to my Mum on Halloween evening dressed up as ghosts. We sang “Three Little Ghosts from tombs are we” as our party piece at the door.

I had carved a cat pumpkin for the occasion.

Then my brother turned up dressed as the grim reaper and brought cocktails. They were in cool flashing glasses although for some reason the flash on mine didn’t work.

We then had dinner.

I had made a spooky bread which had been supposed to be a black widow spider. Unfortunately (as Paul Hollywood would say) I over prrroeuuuvved it and it came out looking like a Great Old One.

Azathoth or Nyarlathotep perhaps (and yes I know they are not technically Great Old Ones).

Anyway we all had a good time. The picture is one the cats drew to apologise for not being present.
