Getting some cold ones

It has been bitterly cold for the last few days.

Because my office is in the garage extension we had built, it is not on the central heating, and I am reliant on the electric air heat pump which is part of the air conditioning system.  It heats the room ok, but it dries the air out something rotten and gives me dry eyes.  I loved my propane heater, but Calor seem to have phased out selling the cylinders for them, and we have to drive to Inverary to swap them out.  So electric heating it is, but in the medium term I am thinking of getting an underfloor system put in.
