A momentous decision

R and I have been talking about this and decided that the house is just miserable without cats in it.  I don’t really believe in mourning for a long time – we loved Tora and Schrodi, they had great lives, they grew old and we gave them clean deaths before they had to suffer.  It is time to move on and get some new friends – they won’t replace our sons, but we still have a lot of love to give.  As well as a great house, unlimited garden, felix cat food, prawns, chicken, electric blankets etc. etc.

Tora and Schrodi were pedigree Snow Bengals who we bought from a breeder, but we have decided that there are too many cats with no homes, so I have been trawling the Cat’s Protection page and have found two ladies needing a home.  I don’t know their background, but they are apparently sisters.  They do not look like sisters but cat genetics are weird so I suppose they may be.

They are coming from the Cumnock branch and the lady has kindly offered to meet us in Arrochar.  We will now need to buy cat equipment having thrown away all the stuff we had.  We will also need a litter tray temporarily – we will of course be giving them access outside but we are keeping them in for a few days.  R also wants to keep them in at night; I am personally not convinced that this will happen, but we will see.
